Our Story

About Us

Hello and welcome! We are very glad you stopped by for a bit, and we are excited to share with you a little about us here at Collins Place Venue. We are a generationally-owned family working farm. We enjoy rich traditions that have thrived through the years, fostered by the colorful love of family.

A few years ago, after we lost our grandmother Collins at the age of 99, we were faced with the decision of selling the farm to someone outside of our family or finding a way to preserve the property and our family legacy by creating a special space for people to come, gather, and celebrate life’s moments, just as our family has done for years.

We have sought to design and provide a property with elements that allow us to host practically any type gathering you can envision, both large and small. It is our hope that this will be a place where our legacy and your future will meet. A place where your story becomes part of our legacy as well. Given the opportunity, we look forward to hosting you to make your gathering or event uniquely and wonderfully yours.

Mission Statement

Collins Place Venue exists to nurture our generational legacy of faith, family, and friends by providing a unique space to gather for life’s special occasions.

Statement of Faith

At Collins Place Event Venue, we believe the Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. We believe the Bible is God’s truth without any mixture of error.

We also believe, in accordance with the Holy Bible, that marriage is a sacred covenant, created by God, for one man and one woman, and that no person entering this holy covenant shall do so without the intent to remain in it until death.

Our Chapel and property are consecrated for the worship of God and used for weddings, worship services, memorial services, vow renewals, and services of education under the doctrine of the Christian faith.

Civil unions, same sex partnerships or other union ceremonies, while recognized for their legal validity, are outside of the Judeo-Christian marriage covenant. Therefore, such ceremonies may not be conducted on the property of Collins Place Event Venue, as to do so would conflict with the religious beliefs held in our very foundation.

Outside of our foundational faith standards for weddings and vow renewals, Collins Place is a space that seeks to host people from all walks of life by respecting, loving, and celebrating them well!
